A Partnership with Project 41 tackles access to clean water

MAKE IT COUNT

When Andy Pierce first visited Haiti and saw the overwhelming need of impoverished people for simple, clean water, he decided to act. He put his mind, spirit, and body to work in creating affordable, durable, and easy-to-use point of use water filters designed for deployment in remote areas for those most in need. He and his family poured themselves into Project41 and helped people in almost a dozen countries, and inmates in the US, who are a critical part of the filter manufacturing process.

EXPANDING THE REACH

When P41 and VFF first met in 2016, there was an immediate understanding and recognition that working together could dramatically expand the reach of Andy’s vision. VFF supported additional projects and research and design of a multi-year expansion strategy that is in the early phases of launching.
